I bought this, even though I have Physical Starlight and Atmosphere - they looked suitably different to warrant having them both. I have a W6800X Duo in my Mac Pro, so don’t have any issues with render times. So far I’m impressed and looking forward to future updates. It’ll be a five-star product before long, I’m sure.

I’m here to say that this is one of the most awesome Add ons that I’ve purchased in a very long time. I needed something that controlled every aspect of the day, plus GIVE ME FOG! This is it! It gives me dust, fog, and clouds and more! WOW! I used to do all that node by node— but now, it’s all there at one time! If you’re already an awesome artist and 3D modeler, You better get this tool to make your project EPIC!

I really like this tool. While it currently isn't quite as extensive as Physical Starlight and Atmosphere, I think the lower price more than makes up for it. Looking forward to when the night sky update comes in.

This is a great product, however there are some drawbacks. While it's nice to get a realistic sky with a few clicks, the render times are through the roof. I have an RTX 2060 and it takes quite a while for this to render. I would like to see better performance along with the ability to get realistic Night time sky and maybe even a eclipse sky.

      Hi Donavan,

Thanks for leaving a review for us. We'd be happy to help you with your render times. We already have options in place for optimising these, but there's only so much that can be done to optimise volumetric rendering inside of Blender.

Please join our discord so we can walk you through optimising your render times

Finally! The guys who have given us True Terrain, True VDB, and True Assets enable us to create stunning outdoor scenes with real volumetric clouds, fog, and distance haze.
All volumetrics in Cycles are taxing to your system, but I have a RTX 2070 Super paired with a 7 yrs old CPU and I´m doing fine.
The Sky presets are a great starting point for your own setup and the clouds are just amazing. I also appreciate the option to switch between Volume Presets, which help speed up your composition.
My wishlist: Night Skies with Stars & Moon and an even more foolproof preset for god rays :D
    Brilliant, brilliant addon & must-have!

I suppose I will be the first to review True-Sky's. First off your going to need at least an RTX 2060 just to be able to use True-Sky's I would consider a 2060 the bare minimum. If you want to animate the sky/clouds/fog then a pair of RTX 3080's would probable be needed. True-Skys is extremely taxing on the system. The sky's look really good probably better than other systems out for blender. The cloud system is really really good, the sky colors are on point with the presets. The fog looks ok as far as I can tell, I can't animate it to tell how good it really looks. The suns look like the standard nishita sky suns. Your going to have to do post processing "bloom, starburst and lens flare" to make the suns look realistic.

The suns in the presets look really really bad. You can even tell a sun is even in some of the presets it just looks like super bright and blown out clouds.

What I would like to see in the future.
    1. Day & Night Cycles with Stars and Moons
    2. The ability to render Clouds and Fog separately from the Sky.
    3. Better performance.
