  What taken me about hour or two before, now took me copule of minuts with scatter. Great addon - simplify my workflow a lot. Grass, weeds, flowers models are also pretty nice, but You can scatter whatever You like.
  Once more time thanks for such great addon. Blender needs high quality products such as this to hit the big blue!

  This is a super fun add-on!
  It's easy to setup, with clever solutions to speed up the workflow avoiding bottlenecks (camera clipping, security features, proxies, and so on).

  Great initiative and so far a great addon with perfect result with just few buttons.
  There is a lot of room to improve. But BD3D is super responsive and getting suggestions all the time and improving it.
  So a great addon so far with a huge potential on to the future!

  My new fav addon! It's amazing!! i7 6700k - 1660 x 2 - 16gb ram and goes like a rocket compared to anything else I've tried.

  I think it's mainly because Scatter vegetation models are made in "clumps", the geometry is highly optimized and the textures only have the details we need.

  Awesome for generating grass textures (why I brought it). Gives you a load of parameters to adjust for different outcomes. Render view is pretty smooth as well (intel i5 9th gen-32gb ram-1060gtx6gb). Once you understand the stacking and scatter setting it is a very powerful tool. 10/10!! I wonder if you could use this to scatter onto non-planar objects.

  Yes it work on non planar surface too, you can try to set a biome right now on 2x2m sphere for example, it will work

  For me - I'm rather beginner in Blender - it is real game-changer. Works great, fast. Even on my 4 years old laptop (i7 Intel, 16 GB RAM, GeForce GTX 860M). It's worth the price, definitely.
