It barely works. Textures missing! Importing rigidify characters is doomed! Free version asset managers work better. 40$ for a lackluster product is not great. Also no search feature?!?! Cmon

Definitely a lot of bugs within the software. Hard to recommend at this stage.

Hi,
If you have found so many bugs, it might be good to bring them back to us on the discord so we can fix them, by specifying the blender version, how to reproduce them as well as the contents of the console after a bug has appeared.

After using this Plugin for some weeks i really can't understand why blender still does not have a good visual asset management system implemented, which seems to me like the backbone of any efficient and fast workflow. Blenders material and appending system has always been trial and error and a pain to use compared to other software. With this addon these shortcomings are actually gone! I think i tried most available addon solutions and this is by far the most intuitive and powerful one. With this addon no work is lost: anytime i create something useful during a project, i just save ist to the AM database and its organized and can be dragged into new projects. VERY useful as a material system but also for small parts like screws, decorations, plants... I rediscovered so much valuable stuff in my old files, which i would never have used again because of the inconvenience of blenders horribly clumsy appending system. Blender feels much more powerful and is more fun to use with this Addon!

This add-on has become a core element to my workflow. After spending a few hours building my libraries within the Asset Manager UI, I now have hundreds of objects right at my fingertips - saving me hours worth of time usually spent looking for and importing models one at a time. Well worth every penny!

Five stars for that it works as expected. Before I have used the "Material Library VX" that came with Blender. The problem there is the Preview. Here with this Addon you really get a preview from every Material and that is important. Just from the name its not easy to remember hundreds of Materials. Having said that, I am using currently the default configuration and with some Materials, especially Glasses, the Preview is not as good as it could be. Nevertheless, here is one Add On, you can pack your Modells and your Materials into. And that is just what is missing otherwise in Blender.
ON my wishlist for all these AddOns is also Support for Luxrender and Radeon Pro-Render. Especially here in an Assets-Manager would be nice to be complete. Especially Interior Renders are often done with Luxrender and would be good if it could also be supported.

This is so helpful! I am creating a feature animation, started a few years ago; I recently started switching over to 2.8 from 2.79 because of render speed, but it means I have a lot of work to do with my assets; with this I can just delete the old one and throw in the updated assets instead of redoing shaders every time; this add on is saving me TONS of time and I am extremely happy with it.
