    This addon has saved me many hundreds of hours of work – and that number is only going to increase as time goes on – the more models that need retopogizing = more time and sanity saved every single time.

    And surely, is it not a little bit unfair to compare a $40 addon to one that costs $370 for the "perpetual" license (which eventually runs out of free updates anyways, thus even the perpetual license is not so "perpetual," you just pay even more money in the long run), and a recurring $99 for the annual subscription license?

    I can certainly understand trying to push creators with constructive criticism / comments / questions / suggestions / etc, and I don't mean to say that they should be completely immune to such – but I think that given the price point, as well as the significant improvements that were made in version two (of which the author generously did not release a separate version, which I believe he easily could have warranted doing given how much it changed the entire addon), and perhaps most of all, simply the fact that this addon was not in any way meant to compete with one that costs 9.25 times more than it (and even more after the first year), it's not so bad for a one-time payment of only $40.

    This is just my opinion / two-cents, please just take it with a grain of salt. I don't mean to offend or hurt or harm anybody or anything in any kind of way, shape, or form. May we all quickly achieve our goals, whatever they may be. Thank you.

    If you sold it to Steam, the buyers would have spent two hours happily with it and failed to get a refund. Using of this add-on is fun. But this is not a game. I bought this add-on and then got angry by comparing it to the "R3DS WRAP 2020", but I trust you to develop this add-on better.

      I see lots of people make this comparison, which is fair enough, but I never intended this tool to compete with R3DS.

      This add-on came into being by accident and I never expected it to work the way it does, but I'm working to improve it.

    I love this addon, its changed the way I do retopology and ensures I can have consistent topology across all my models.
    one issue I did have was that when I was trying to wrap the mesh around a sculpt the center verts often split and start to move away from each other or they start to overlap. what I didn't realize was that it was the mirror modifier that was causing this. the mirror needs to be applied before starting softwrap. once I had that fixed it was smooth sailing and this addon became a blessing.

      yea, the mirror modifier needs to be applied, but maybe I should do something so make it support the mirror modifier out of the box.

    Amazing! v1 was already good, v2 is great, buttery smooth and very responsive, speeding up my retopology work a lot. It's even fun to use!

      Nice to hear that, I worked quite a bit on this new engine to get the smoother wrapping.

    Absolutely fully worth the money. You'll have to figure out a bit how to best work with it , but once it works it's really good. Also the developer is very helpful to aid with any problems. Hopefully one day this will work on MacOS too. Thank you!

    A very usefull tool. Be aware that is just that, a tool. It took me some tries to get it to do what I wanted from it. The deformed mesh may disbehave. I was able to solve that using the created shapekey with a vertex group and a weight map afterwards.

    With a differend mesh, in which I did a full body retopo, I used some parts of the original mesh dublicated and attached to the target to get fingers and fingernails right.

    If you don't expect magic, this plugin is awesome. Very versatile, I find it easy to use. You need to do cleanup afterwards. Still, great.

      You got it perfectly!, it's a tool that makes the job easier but doesn't do magic.

    Great tool but the fact that anything outside vertex selection can float around freely changes the mesh in unpredictable ways. It would be great if there was an option to freeze anything outside the vertex selection while the plugin is deforming.

    I sure like this tool. I love the interactive quality of it, and I think its easy to use. Thanks for making my workflow a little easier.

    I feel like Mission Impossible whenever I wrap a head using this plugin! :D

    It's super weird, but super awesome, to see a real-time plug-in like this. I mean, we're used to having to wait X seconds/minutes for calculations, and now we can just manipulate stuff in real-time. Welcome to the future.
