  I cannot overstate what a godsend this addon has been for every project so far.

  baking in blender is awful, baking in simplebake is simple. that's really all you need to know.

  literally, I'm just finishing up a project now that I would not have been able to ship last year. it not only makes work easier, it makes this kind of work _possible_ at all. having this tool has upgraded our ambitions and abilities, period.

  buy it. buy it ten times. I will tell everyone who will listen to me to get this.

  definitively one of the best baking tools to streamline your workflow. extensive options can fit just about any workload, and paired with a decent UV packer - texture atlasing possibility is endless.

  small learning curve when getting used to it, but once you're there, PBR bakes are as simple as making a blender material and leaving the rest to SimpleBake.

  I think the way you update needs to change. The current automatic update method doesn't work very well. Instead, please upload the update files separately to Blender Market.

  wasted 2 hours to bake multiple maps from multiple objects. got frustated, bought simple bake, did it in 5 minutes... nothing more to say

  Great addon. It is a indispensable part of my workflow. It took me a few months using, trying the options to finally make it work. Also it is very important to master Blender's vanilla bake options before making full use of this addon. Sometimes I get a bake error in a specific map but nothing that using the default blender bake workflow as another option won't get the job done. The feature I miss the most right now is a way to bake ID maps based on different mesh that the high poly mesh might have (I know I could make materials on the high poly and set their base colors to be baked in a base color bake but that would require too much manual work).

  What can I say... I am in love with that addon. It erases wasted time to manually bake something in blender. The price is also very reasonable

  When it works, its great. However, it only works about 2% of the time. I've tried every setting possible and my results come out completely unusable almost every time. it also crashes after every single bake. I've used this addon for weeks and have been nothing but frustrated. Even on very low poly objects, the bakes come out garbage and it crashes. I was really excited about this addon because baking is a huge pain. It should be easier than this and not soul crushing. I hate that I wasted my money.

  I've been using SimpleBake for more than a year and it's incredible. I appreciate the red "tips" it provides when I'm filling out the options I want. I've never had any crashes or issues. This is a must have addon for my workflow.

  On one of my PCs it works fine, on another keeps crashing Blender no matter what I do. Both PC are powerful enough to handle texture baking (Ryzen 9 5th gen and RTX 4090/3080).
  Since I can't use it everywhere, I can't include it in my workflow.

  Also keep in mind that you won't get updates for this addon from Blender Market. Instead you have to download them from the author's server. And the author blocks access to his server from selected countries and does not specify about that in the product description (currently it's Russia, but who knows what country the author starts to dislike next, maybe China?) . So if you're from Russia, you must use VPN to get access to the latest version. Or just don't use this addon, because no one should tolerate this kind of segregation. I didn't know about the update issue, otherwise I wouldn't have bought this addon. Author might tell you that he can send you new updates manually. But he releases new versions much faster than he can respond to your message.

  Also if you download updates from the author server with the update button from Blender, you can't really check what you are downloading, which could lead to potential security breach. In comparison, when I download an archive from Blender Market, at least I can check it first before use.

  If all of this is fine for you, then this addon might be a good purchase.
