PLX_SteppedParallax 4-64 - Creates parallax at high resolution with the displacement texture.

Inputs:

  • Strength - The depth of the parallax
  • Scale - The size of the texture
  • Depth Blur - The radius of the blur
  • Resolution - Controls the number of iterations
  •    0 to 0.25 - 4 iterations
  •    0.25 to 0.5 - 8 iterations
  •    0.5 to 0.75 - 16 iterations
  •    0.75 to 1 - 32 iterations
  •    1 - 64 iterations
  • Inputs 1 to 3 - Configurable inputs for the displacement texture

PLX_SteppedParallax 4-16 - Same as PLX_SteppedParallax 4-16 but with less iterations for faster shader compilation in EEVEE

Inputs:

  • Strength - The depth of the parallax
  • Scale - The size of the texture
  • Depth Blur - The radius of the blur
  • Resolution - Controls the number of iterations
  •    0 to 0.5 - 4 iterations
  •    0.5 to 1 - 8 iterations
  •    1 - 16 iterations
  • Inputs 1 to 3 - Configurable inputs for the displacement texture

PLX_SmoothParallax 4-64 - Creates smoother parallax at high resolution with the displacement texture.

Inputs:

  • Strength - The depth of the parallax
  • Smooth - The smoothness of the parallax
  • Scale - The size of the texture
  • Depth Blur - The radius of the blur
  • Resolution - Controls the number of iterations
  •    0 to 0.25 - 4 iterations
  •    0.25 to 0.5 - 8 iterations
  •    0.5 to 0.75 - 16 iterations
  •    0.75 to 1 - 32 iterations
  •    1 - 64 iterations
  • Inputs 1 to 3 - Configurable inputs for the displacement texture

PLX_SmoothParallax 4-16 - Same as PLX_SmoothParallax 4-16 but with less iterations for faster shader compilation in EEVEE

Inputs:

  • Strength - The depth of the parallax
  • Smooth - The smoothness of the parallax
  • Scale - The size of the texture
  • Depth Blur - The radius of the blur
  • Resolution - Controls the number of iterations
  •    0 to 0.5 - 4 iterations
  •    0.5 to 1 - 8 iterations
  •    1 - 16 iterations
  • Inputs 1 to 3 - Configurable inputs for the displacement texture

PLX_Depth - Uses one value to control parallax depth

Inputs:

  • Strength - The depth of the parallax

PLX_Texture - Determines the depth of PLX_SteppedParallax 4-64, PLX_SteppedParallax 4-16, PLX_SmoothParallax 4-64, and PLX_SmoothParallax 4-16.

Put any displacement maps or procedural textures inside by pressing tab. You can also mix multiple textures inside using the three inputs.

Inputs:

  • Vector - The texture coordinates
  • Inputs 1 to 3 - Configurable inputs for creating heightmaps or mixing textures

PLX_SteppedIteration - One iteration used inside PLX_SteppedParallax 4-64 and PLX_SteppedParallax 4-16. It is not meant to ever be used outside of these nodegroups.

PLX_SmoothIteration - One iteration used inside PLX_SmoothParallax 4-64 and PLX_SmoothParallax 4-16. It is not meant to ever be used outside of these nodegroups.

PLX_AlphaBoundaries - Creates a rectangular mask from a vector.

Inputs:

  • Vector - The coordinates used to create the mask
  • X1 - The X position of one corner of the mask
  • Y1 - The Y position of one corner of the mask
  • X2 - The X position of the opposite corner of the mask
  • Y2 - The Y position of the opposite corner of the mask
