Sorry I purchase this addon, I assumed you could just install the addon and work in your normal interface but no, you seem to have to through misguided information just to open the interface and there's little to no instructions on what you're suppose to do when you finally figure it out, the latest blend file I could find was for 2.81 and no 3.0 or above available.
I don't want to use someone else's blend file, I like my own configuration.

Hi Ged, we have documentation for various versions of the addon we released. I assume you used 4.6.2. You can check out how to use the panel at https://docs.polygoniq.com/materialiq/4.6.2/getting_started/material_panel_overview/

The blends support multiple versions of Blender, including 3.0 and above, even though they are called 2.81, the naming is legacy from earlier versions of materialiq.

You can absolutely use your own configuration and use materialiq at the same time, this shouldn't be an issue. We do this internally in our team.

Good, it would be nice if you can add some wooden planks.

More materials are coming your way in future updates! :)

Product support doc doesn't specify a fix for materials not linking correctly on install. Just says to find missing files via two options. No response from support after a week. Expensive for not being useable.

      Hi,
it's Christmas holidays so please be patient. We are with our families and friends celebrating and resting after a hard year. We will get back to full time support after New Years, don't worry.

This is a solid companion for any serious project. It's quick and so far for me 100% reliable in all versions of Blender including 3.1 alpha. Also, remember you can edit the defaults. IF you're going to use the 4k version, make sure you adjust the output quality using Simplify if your graphics card runs out of RAM; not unique this solution.

The add on is organized and easy to use, and helps me a lot in my series. After a while you get tired of going back into folders and so on, and with this add, no need. Saves a lot of time! Great addon, thanks!

Awesome Library. The ocean shader is worth the money alone.

I purchased the 4k version, the materials are great and the interface is very pleasant to use without being overly intrusive. Although I would like the ability to collapse the lower sections leaving only the Summon Material and Replace Material buttons visible.

Overall these materials have been awesome, and they're very easy to extend and modify if you need to. The nodes are all nicely grouped together. So along with being great materials in their own right they're also great as base materials to build on top of.

    I definitely recommend this.

Hi there, well this might be a bit of a later reply ^^ but thanks for the review! We're just redoing the addon completely and all this you're asking for will improve + so much more. Super happy to see artists appreciate the organization and how the NodeGroups are grouped together! All the best, Adam

download full 4k version, install, opened materialiq_1.8.blend file, make all Paths Absolute, set location for missing files but still have missing files. Example: material use texture Stonewall_Travertine_Normal_mqt_1024.png, but in my folder i don`t have ".png" file only the same file but ".jpg". Any solutions?

      Hello Aleksandr,

I see you also sent a message through Inbox but will reply here aswell for consistency- materialiq_1.8.blend doesn't exist in current version of materialiq (it used to long long time ago) now we have materialiq_b280.blend and you can open it through the addon in Properties Window under Materials in a tab named "materialiq" by clicking on the "Showcase Scenes" buton. I will send you a screenshot through Inbox.

      All the best,
      Adam
