  The materials are great, but the "Medina" and "Edward Israel" Materials are missing textures and appear as black and bright magenta respectively.

  Hello Alejandro, thanks for your review and glad you like the materials. Regarding the "Medina" and "Edward Israel" materials, these were designed with the Cycles rendering engine in mind, you may be viewing them in EEVEE or the material preview mode that uses EEVEE. This can result in them appearing as black or magenta in EEVEE. Switching to Cycles should resolve this issue. Rendering Engine compatibility is listed for each material in the documentation: https://scifi-hull-materials.readthedocs.io. If this is not the case do not hesitate to get in touch by either clicking the ‘Ask a Question’ button or by emailing [email protected]. As EEVEE continues to improve I will of course be updating the materials accordingly and do let me know if you have any further questions.

  Thanks Nic for the great review. You might find that some materials may not actually work in Eevee, but this is all in the documentation so let me know if you have any issues.

  Great stuff. The ideal accompaniment to Starship Generator and The Shipwright. Just been messing with the 'Starfleet' texture and getting some great Chris Foss-style markings (actually, a dedicated 'Foss' shader, with diagonal lines, would be awesome!) Plenty of experimenting to be done, but so far, at this price, I'm pretty happy.

  This is a really nice texture! The node structure is complex, but creator Mark Kingsnorth has thoughtfully annotated the node groups so you can see and learn how things work. In addition, I asked a question regarding rendering the texture and it was quickly answered with a response that solved the minor problem. Couldn't be happier!
