It is the second training I bought of CG Masterclass and I must say that it is very complete, clear and very organized. The instructor is perfect and explains very well the process to create 3d environnements progressively. You can buy everything from this instructor because he has done a perfect work to create this training. Even a beginner can follows this course easily. Great job !

Fabulous course, so much more in it than I expected, too. It's long but explaines everything in detail and is easy to follow along. My only tiny niggle (and it is tiny) is I wish the chapters were labled with whats in them. I would highly recomend this addon as you learn sooooo much!

Very good job! I bought the last course but never got to watch it. Now I can look at the update straight away! And it just looks fantastic. Thanks!

The content is great and I'm learning so much at a good pace. I really like the examples and projects that are included, and going through this course gives me the confidence to use my skills in personal projects. But the audio is very distracting. Listening to the voice over feels like Rob is talking over my right shoulder/behind my back and that's why I couldn't watch these with headphones at first. Luckily I found a mono button from VLC audio settings but then the voice gets muffled. I really hope the modular environment course was recorded with a headset or something and not this 360 degree conference recorder. Besides that, I'm very happy! But for the love of god, please have someone mix the voice or something :D Sometimes Rob talks a bit too quietly and I have to rewind just to make sense of some words, maybe that could use some compression. When I get through the course, maybe I'll calm down and change this review to 5 stars but the voice over is such an important part of the video series that having to adjust it myself is quite the bother, to be honest.

Extremely thorough. I had no idea you could use weight painting to affect the areas affected by a subsurf modifier. The first few chapters are Blender basics, including downloading etc, so I skipped them. And chapter 3 is about materials I believe, so I skipped through that. Chapter 4 got to the meat of the course, though an absolute beginner could watch the first three chapters and make the scene.

This is a fantastic course. It's packed full of content and in my opinion it is worth a lot more than the $19 it's on sale for. The tutor is passionate, knowledgeable and just generally seems to be a nice guy who wants to show you how to make good art. For me, as someone with a bit of experience with the old pre-2.8 Blender, this series has been particularly useful for learning the new features of 2.8 in a practical manner and getting great results from it.
