  As someone who imports large, converted STEP (CAD) files into blender and have to sort all the pieces. This is a major time and life saver! Like others have said This really needs to be a built-in feature in blender.

  Definitely get this if you have lots of objects that are parented to other parented objects or if you have a ton of items in your scene.

  Sorry, I hate to give a great idea and a presumably significant effort a bad review but the add-on simply does not work for my arch viz model in Blender 3.6. Collections simply don’t expand when I click on, say, a piece of trim several collections deep (e.g. scene -> main floor -> walls -> den north -> door casing). One of the icons beside a higher level collection name may change a bit in appearance but any change is very hard to notice when multiple collection names are listed tight together. The add-on seems to work when models are small but it sure isn’t working for me.
