  This is a great add-on. It does exactly what it says, works without any flaws, and overall very straight-forward. Just download, install, and that's it. The functionality it adds is incredibly convenient and really should be default in Blender. It's one of those small things that really, really save you time in the long-run.

  The developer is also very helpful and responds quickly to any issues, so all the more reason to get this add-on from him.

  Does what it says on the tin. Why this functionality is not stock Blender behavior, is a definite headscratcher. Since it isn't, I am glad this plugin exists to fill that void. As a Unity user, this dovetails perfectly with the Hierarchy, so I no longer need to have separate muscle memory when I want to change focus to the selected object in the Outliner. It just happens now.

  Very useful but sometimes it doesn't work for some unknown reason. maybe I have a lot of objects in my scene but kinda annoying when that happens.

  Does not work with the Scenes mode, which I use for work. Quite odd that it wouldnt work for that. I need to see what object is inside my Empties. Will update with better review if that is fixed.

  Hey Josh, Thanks for the review, and apologies for the unpleasant experience you had with the add-on. I have just tested it in 'Scenes' mode with Blender 4.1.1, and I can confirm it does work in that mode. Something else in your Blender setup could be stopping it from working.   This is a follow-on from endorsing Amandeep's other Add-on 'Modifier Shortcut' - It says:
  "If time is the most precious thing we have then I'm all in for making the tedious more efficient. Better still is when it's elegant. "One of those emails" dropped by and what a thing! Amandeep you are a star! This is super sexy as is your other - Auto Highlight in Outliner - dare I say it here sexier. The two - for under $7 - is a no brainer, leaving the base developers to merrily go about their bit without hassle. Can you tell I love this community?!! If you're reading this DON'T THINK TWICE! You can mess with the NUMPAD 0 for locating objects in outliner or fettle with the Mod search for bending twisting... but why when these do it for you?Thank you Amandeep :)"

  This addon is totally indispensable if you are working with larger files or kitbash blend files from other people. Saves you a ton of time.
