the default addon folder is "C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\3.3\scripts\addons\Anime Hair Maker", often it is not convenient for user to locate. here is how to specify a custom folder path:

1. go to the default addon folder mentioned above. copy "Curves_Presets.blend" .

2. choose a convenient location and create a new folder, for example "CustomPreset" in D drive, go to the folder and paste "Curves_Presets.blend" there.

3. go to blender Anime Hair Maker addon preference and point to the folder, please note do not point to any blend file inside, do not add any empty space and save preference. it should look like this:

save preference and it is all set. now the script will load blend file from custom location, and custom curve profiles are saved in this folder.

the default addon path is :C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\3.3\scripts\addons\Anime Hair Maker

if you did not use the custom bevel blender file path in addon preference, please save the "Curves_Presets.blend" in a different location before update and overwrite files. after updating, copy your "Curves_Presets.blend" back to the addon path or use custom path instead.

do not overwrite and lose your own data.
