  great addon! a feature to random pick objects from a collection would be great indeed. Also, a nice addition would be an option to keep scale ,rotation,material,collection folder,name of the selected original objects and option to delete the originals immediately after the replacement.

  I hope we get more of these kinds of "present proof"/"future proof" tools for, actual, work in Blender. There are a lot of gimmicky tools out there, with far higher price tags. This is something anyone, building, can ACTUALLY use, the price is great, the help it provides at getting something, more elaborate(or even for detail work on one object) is pretty obvious. Maybe we can have a "chose random from collection" like with the particle system.
