To create a Trimsheet just: 1. In Object Mode, Create a new Trimsheet plane 2. Enter Edit Mode and start manipulating the place faced to represent the trimsheet structure. 3. Select the source materials for each face on the addon panel. 4. Apply any needed transformations for any source material in the Material Settings section. 5. Click the Update Trimsheet and your trimsheet will be ready in seconds! 6. Set the export path in the Export settings section and export your new trimsheet textures.

Trimsheet Express supports source materials using the following Blender shader output nodes: • Principled Shader • Glossy Shader • Diffuse Shader • Transparent Shader

1. Set up your materials in the scene. 2. Open the Trimsheet Express panel (found in the Tools tab in 3D View). 3. Click on the "Create" button to create a new Trimsheet plane and material. 4. Enter edit mode to edit the Trimsheet plane sections. 5. Select the source materials in the material list. 6. Adjust the output texture resolution and section scaling and positioning in the advanced material settings subpanel if needed. 7. Click "Update Trimsheet" — and Trimsheet Express will handle the rest! Note: when modifying the trimsheet plane make sure the “Correct Face Attribute” and "Keep Connected" options are enabled in the Active Tool shelf. Alternatively you can unwrap the plane before updating the textures.
