Cut Out Tree Collection With Normal Maps
Why is this "Plane" tree collection?
Because these aren't actual 3D trees but they look 3D thanks to normal mapping.
How to use these trees?
You open the Blender file and copy the trees to your scene or append the trees from the downloaded file.
Where are the textures located?
Packed inside the Blender file.
How to use the materials/shader?
The materials contain a small normal map shader and a translucency generated mask shader. They work out of the box, you don't need to set them up manually. In theory, if you have alpha channel trees with corresponding normal maps, you can change the image textures to your own trees.
