Made for Cycles
For the moment "The Roads Must Roll" is made to work with Cycles only.
Not all materials seems to work with EEVEE.
Current Limitations
Converting the road to a mesh or exporting to another software package
While it’s possible to convert the road into a mesh and then export it to other software, there are some limitations at the moment.
Please see the FAQ on the website
Most materials are unlikely to convert successfully to another software package.
Using 'Material Preview' mode in the viewport
Since 'Material Preview' relies on the EEVEE render engine, it’s not supported at this time.
Traffic Simulation
You can easily animate cars on each road object individually, with adjustable parameters like density, seed, spacing, and speed. Each road object is based on a single curve.
However, this is not a full traffic simulation, as vehicles do not interact with traffic lights, intersections, or each other.
Custom Lane Width
The lanes are currently set to a fixed width of 3.5 meters (11.48 feet). I'm planning to explore ways to make this adjustable in the future.
