Scene-Sweeper | 3-In-1 Toolset For Professional Optimization

by Mischen Software in Addons

Who is SceneSweeper for?
Anyone who requires assets to be heavily managed and optimized (such as game engines), or who is rendering large scenes with high-poly models (archviz, CAD, etc)
I have a mesh in my scene which I've subdivided, but the poly count hasn't changed?
The subdivision modifier only interpolates between existing vertices by 'predicting' where extra geometry would go, so the actual poly count of the mesh remains the same while the modifier will make it appear smoother. For an accurate poly count, apply the subdivision modifier and the poly count will increase.
Why is SceneSweeper important?
In 3D modeling and asset creation, efficiency and optimization are critical, especially for professionals working on game assets, architectural visualizations, or importing CAD models. Scenes can quickly become cluttered with excess data, heavy textures, or unoptimized meshes, leading to performance issues and slower workflows. SceneSweeper solves this, with a suite of easy to use tools.
How do I install SceneSweeper?
Simply download the add-on file, open Blender, go to Edit > Preferences > Add-ons, and click “Install from disk.” in the top right drop down menu. Select the SceneSweeper .zip file, enable it, and you’re ready to go.
