Procedural Sci Fi Metal Shader For Eevee & Cycles
As with most involved procedural shaders-it will require a capable computer to make the best use of a texture-less setup designed for real time application.
Version 2.0 was tested on an Nvidia GTX 1060 and running with no crashes (with some variation on fps depending on the amount and size of objects and lights in the scenes).
To further optimize the Blender setup for rendering in Eevee or Cycles, see the below links:

Set "Cable Grid Scale" or "Vent Amount" to 0, which will remove them from the node output and fill in with regular panels.
Plug the image texture node into one of the color nodes (i.e. panel 1, 2, etc) and adjust the panel module to preference. This can also be done with procedural nodes-however take case as this may bring the group close to the node limit for materials.
