Procedural Crowds currently works in Blender 3.4 and 3.5. We will continue to work on making it compatible with future versions of Blender as well.

You can use rigs of any type (Mixamo, Accurig, etc.). Just follow the tutorial, and you'll be able to have your crowds accessible from Procedural Crowds whenever you need them.
