  I just purchased this addon and I'm enjoying learning how to operate it. The only reason that I'm not giving 5 stars is because the description was not clear enough regarding the Greebles pack.

  As I did not read carefully enough, I ended up purchasing SolCommand's greeble pack thinking that it was another set as the two file names were different. Much to my chagrin, I spent $15 extra to get the exact same file.

  I suggest that you identify, in the top right hand box, that SolCommand's Greebles are included instead of the generic " +greebles addons", so that idiots like me don't buy the same thing twice.

  Hi Gaetan - SolCommand’s Greebles pack should be a different set of files to mine. As you intended, you should be getting the benefit of purchasing both.

  I'm trying to do a huge project alone at home during quarantine and Mark's brilliant add-on has already saved me from many many hours of manual modeling. I just picked up his Nebula Generator and Plating Material since I know that they will also be saving me time and producing amazing results.

  Excellent and very useful Addon for Blender. Many years ago I worked with the Greeble Modifier in 3DS Max but this Addon here is much better and much more flexible. One of the Reasons why I switched from 3DS Max to Blender long time ago are Addons like this one:)

  Hello, this is a great addon for creating quick and easy sci-fi details with lots of options. With that said, I am encountering a serious bug in that every time I attempt to select a new greeble object Blender immediately crashes. Whether I am selecting a default object, or a custom object, it crashes, every time. I'm on Blender 2.91b and the latest addon version., also have like 20 other addons enabled. Looking at the crash log I can't make sense of what the exact issue is, if you want me to send the logs let me know, otherwise this is maybe the important bits:

  read file C:\Users\Robert\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\BlenderError : EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION

  It's a great too, but it really sucks you can't go back and edit your paneling. Woulld be nice if it was actually a non-destructive modifier. If you get far down the line, and you get some art direction about the paneling there's no way to edit it. Unless I'm missing something.

  Hello timdan,

  I too would love to have this as a non-destructive modifier; unfortunately Blender's Python application interface does not allow for custom modifiers right now. I am always watching for updates to Blender's core code for this feature and the moment it is possible I will be implementing it!

  The Animation Nodes feature bundled with the add-on will allow you to go back and forth. There are some example files supplied and instructions about how to install the feature in the documentation. It may not entirely suit you needs, and if you have any questions, let me know.

  I am developing a Houdini version of the add-on which is fully integrated with the application as a Digital Asset. If you're familiar with Houdini and would like to try an early version, do get in touch.

  Excellent work regarding the most recent updates. I bought this a long time ago and only just realised I never submitted a review. Mark is continuing to update this and improve it further. Also from a support perspective regarding queries and help he has been fantastic. Keep up the great work.

  Absolutely fantastic addon. I needed to model a space ship in a hurry and this immediately did what it said. My advice is to play with a cube and sphere and cylinder to get the hang of how the custom options work. This will help you gain an intuitive use of the product before adding it to your complex shapes. Very happy with this purchase.
