Crease

Quickly select and crease the hard edges in your low poly model. Use the ‘select’ feature to quickly select edges based on a certain angle. Once you are satisfied with the angle selection, use the ‘crease’ feature to crease the selected edges.

Additionally, identify any missed edges and apply creasing as needed. For edges that were unintentionally selected, utilize a -1.0 crease value to reverse the selection and remove the creasing effect.

Generate

Play with settings in the generation tab and generate your high poly model. Subdivision level, edge smoothness, and voxel size can all be adjusted. Bring the edge smoothness up to create more rounded edges and bring it down to create sharper edges.

Optimize

Bring down the poly count while retaining as much detail as possible with the ‘decimate’ feature. Utilize the ‘optimize’ feature to remesh your object for sculpting. Quad Remesher does not need to be purchased to use this function.
