For Blender 4.3 and above.
What is Fit Curve?
Fit Curve is designed to be an intuitive alternative to Blender’s Curve Deform modifier, ensuring objects align to curves in world space. No more unexpected rotations or tricky transformations - just more predictable results.
See the Overview Video or Read the Documentation for more information. Email info@configurate.net if you have any questions or issues.
Features
- World-Space Alignment – This means it always aligns objects correctly to the curve.
- Stretch & Offset Controls – Fine-tune positioning and proportions with ease.
- Custom Axis & Rotation – Full control over orientation.
- Curve Subdivisions – Optimize deformation smoothness.
- Simple & Efficient – No complex setup, just pick a curve and go.
- Modifier Asset – Works as an Asset Library entry, so you can add it to your workflow without needing a traditional add-on installation.
Good for text, meshes, and creative curve-based modeling.
Notes
📢 Important! Make Sure Your Object Origin is Centered
For best results, make sure your object’s origin (pivot point) is in the center before using Fit Curve. You can use Object -> Set Origin -> Origin to Geometry in the viewport menu.
📢 If the modifier is not in the Deform category and is instead in Unassigned, follow the instructions here.
