Meet the first Scapes!

Still looking for the best plants to cover walls, fences, columns, barriers? Have you been trying to create a jungle or house gardens with non cartoonish but outfitted with naturalistic qualities?

Then meet the Creeper Scapes. This is a first 3D models pack from TerraScape series. A complete production solution for any kind of environmental artworks, ranging from beautiful landscapes to post-apocalyptic scenery.

A huge library. Lots of models.

The library is ready to go with 21 species of carefully detailed creeper and vine plants which consists of 437 models in total, with up to 45 variations for a each model.

Assorted, diversified for vertical gardening.

Diversity of the plants is a big deal so you can enjoy creating nature scenes by using them to achieve natural, non-repeatable and realistic results.

Very easy to be customized and randomized.

The flexibility of the models lies in their fragmented structure. Actually you get plant patches, so they have possibility to be assigned non-limited forms unlike some models with single mesh that are enough "rigid" to be quickly manipulated.

LOD? Of course!

Usually such complex plants have tendency to be memory consuming, but not these one!

Now you have two options for the models while appending them into your scene: HP: high-poly and LP: low-poly versions. The last one is preferable to be used for backgrounds within other a high amount of models, avoiding crashes due to out of memory.

Physically correct leaves color change.

In nature leaves gradually lose chlorophyll during the growing seasons. That's why they become more yellow and yellow. To control randomization of the leaves you won't need complex, gradient-material adjustments or vertex color mambo-jumbo anymore!

Instead of there a single map used as a mixer to produce color variations, giving you convenient and full control over the materials.

Adopted to a Simple Asset Manager!

The library is adopted to the open sourced Simple Asset Manager, giving you regular square thumbnails and full resolution 1:2 ratio images as well. The add-on is absolutely free and included along with the models. You will also find a mini tutorial on installing and using of it.

And likewise you might make your own custom previews and for doing this just create 200x200 pixels .png thumbnails with the same models names. That's it!

Cycles and Eevee, hand-in-hand.

The entire pack uses Principled BSDF materials for it's all components and prepared for both cycles and eevee. It remains only to switch to the desired engine.

Distribute plants along a path with a Particles System.

Yeah! The models pack comes with a tutorial describing the best and quickest way to distribute plant objects along curves with a Particle System. For a better exploring there is an example scene included too.

Upcoming upgrades.

At the moment we're working hard on the asset upgrade tailoring everything for Blender 2.81 and 2.82. On top of that, in the short run new plant species will be added to the library.
