  Very good addon.
  I had to figure out some of the basic steps since I am still new to Blender, but that aside everything works as advertised.
  The only thing that I couldn't figure out is if it's possible to use the provided presets as a starting point and manually groom them with the brushes.

  Absolutely amazing addon. I have been playing around with it for a bit, no complaints so far. I've read some of the negative reviews and it seems most of them have no idea what they are talking about. For a groom artist like myself who frequently works on production ready hair, this is an incredible toolset. The curve-to-hair option alone is an insanely powerful feature which will save me a lot of time. Seriously.

  3D Hair Brush has a high learning curve for a first user, but the more you play with it the better your results. I had a strange scaling issue with my hair and the developer was most helpful in showing how to resolve my issue. Once I understood the workflow process I find this tool very quick to use. Thank you!

  I would not recommend it, I bought it because of its transformation into cards, but the result is totally random and far from the original hair, the tools they offer to edit are uncomfortable, and inefficient, it does not look anything like what appears in the promotional videos , I tried to communicate with a response without positive result, and at the time of writing this, the documentation only has a broken link. I'm going to ask for a refund, I hope I can get my money back.

  I first purchased this back in June 2022. Initially, this tool seemed very intimidating and a somewhat unhelpful addition to Blender's native particle hair system at this time. But...since then, this tool had some major updates, including repackage features that you would have to purchase separately in the past, that is now an all-in-one tool. Not only does this Hair tool increase hair creations speeds for both particle and curve hair systems, now the tool helps with game and/or hair-cards creations for use with software outside of Blender. Plus, the VFX Grace Youtube library provides additional information to help better understand the features of this tool, and more. Lastly, although this tool is a bit pricey, I believe it's definitely worth the price it is now than 250 USD value it was previously separated into for all the needed features.

  Tried the sample plugin and the curly hair wig. Couldn't get the results to look better than doing it myself. Don't see the point in buying this. Maybe okay for beginners who are intimidating by crafting hair. For an experienced animator (and I'm not even that experienced), it would be simpler to make a new style by hand than get this to work well. Particularly for animation. The main advantage seems to be ease of applying the styles and it may be useful for beginners who'd prefer anything over a bald head, but if you're picky about how it will look, this isn't very useful. If you have to craft them yourself, pretty sure there are cheaper and simpler ways to save templates.
