Auto Stop Free is a Blender add-on that gives you a simple 3D Viewport N-Panel checkbox that enables auto stopping of animation playback / recording at your scene's last frame. This is a HUGE help for protecting your auto keying input from being overwritten by Blender's default playback looping. It also helps protect rigid body physics simulations cache from being lost by looping, giving you peace of mind and allowing you to focus more on your performance. Plus, it's free!
