Wrap In Plastic
With this add-on you can quickly wrap any object with a plastic cover. The thickness, smoothness and the color of the plastic can be customized. You can also wrap multiple objects together by joining them beforehand (this is further explained below).
Watch our video tutorial to quickly understand the functions & various options.
Subdivision Levels:
This field controls the subdivision levels of the plastic cover. A higher number will give you a smooth cover, use something like 5 or 6 for the best result.
Wrap Thickness:
This is the thickness of the plastic cover. You can customize it as per the look-n-feel you need.
Wrap Color Tint:
This defines the color tint for the plastic cover. Please note that the plastic will have a transparent look like a normal plastic, so it won’t follow the exact color selected by you. Instead, it will get a tint or a very light shade of the color which you select here.
How to wrap multiple objects together:
You need to select an object before you can wrap it in plastic. If you select multiple objects, only the active selection will be wrapped. If you want to wrap multiple objects together, first join them together (better to create duplicate objects, join them together and hide the original objects), then select this joined object and use our add-on to wrap it in plastic.
We hope that you find this add-on useful in your project. For any assistance, or for any bug reporting, please feel free to send a mail to [email protected] or connect to us via our YouTube channel. We are always there to help you!
