Wicker

It's a fact, Wicker is just hard to model. Except...

not anymore ;)

This addon is a one button solution to convert any mesh into wicker. Comes with tons of controls as well.

Wicker dynamically calculates off of your UV map. This means you can model away! If you add new faces you can simply recalculate UVs.

Controls

Resolution: Max detail allowed in the conversion (keep above 4 and lower then 12ish).
Density: How densely the material is woven together (the number of 'waves').
Height: Deviation from the original surface.
Thickness: Thickness of the weave.
Width: Width of the 'strands'.
Cull (experimental): Used for cleaning up degenerate geometry.

Installation

Install just like any other addon (drag the .zip right into Blender). Make sure you're using version 4.3 or newer!
