Limitations
Cycles Render Time for Dense VFX
Dense water VFX, like complex cascades or numerous splashes, can take time to render in Cycles. To speed up rendering, increase the transparent bounces setting. Alternatively, you can split your scene into two layers: render the water in Eevee and the rest of the scene in Cycles, then compose the layers together in post-production.
Real-Time Simulation
Water VFX Master is optimized for real-time simulation, which means it doesn't provide the super-accurate fluid simulations required for close-up shots. Instead, it offers convincing water illusions that are quick and lightweight to adjust. This makes it perfect for mid-range or distant shots where realistic water effects are needed without the heavy computational cost of physically accurate simulations.
