  Do not buy this! When you create materials, the addon cannot recognize displacement maps on standard, uber, or any setting for that matter. I don't know if these reviews are bots or not, but unless this problem gets fixed, I would stay very far from this addon and look elsewhere.

  Feature-packed asset management that feels like a real labour of love.
  After installing True Assets, I wasn't sure I'd made the right choice. Blender has an asset library, right? Do you need a bunch of extras bundled with some online asset libraries? Well, it turns out you absolutely do if you interact with assets, manage libraries, or intend to turn your Blends into libraries. There are functions that I'd completely forgotten about, such as "Quick-Swap" that would have saved me an hour of effort had I remembered about it. Not only has the add-on saved me a massive amount of time and effort, it finally got me to start organizing my efforts into libraries. Add to this that when a problem arose, the developer provided a level of help that you might associate with a corporate support contract -- Saturday night fixes for what I thought was a minor problem.
  * Waste less time on Asset house-keeping
  * Do more and do better library management
  * Benefit from little touches like True-Asset created materials use useful custom (True-uber) version of Blender's BSDF shaders.
  * Optional integration with two great material libraries.

  I have plenty of addons I enjoy using but I may only use them once in a while as needed. True-Assets is an addon that I use on every project, every day. Blender, and all the files that you accumlate over the years, can get very untidy very quickly. This addon helps keep everything organized and gives you plenty of tools to integrate your existing material. The ability to browse, download, and manage free assets is just the cherry on top that makes it even better. This is a highly polished addon that has worked reliably across several Blender versions since I purchased it. Recommended!

  One of my favourite Blender add-ons. I always use it for my assets and its extremely useful. Still haven't used it to its full potential. Never leave home without it. Highly recommended!

  Arguably, the most useful addon I've purchased for Blender (out of dozens). Being able to organize all of my different assets for immediate recall and based on various search parameters has been a game-changer for my workflow. It's hard to quantify how much time this addon has saved me.

  I’m a relative newbie to blender so was a bit hesitant to install what looked like a fantastic resource tool with my limited experience . Although I did have some installation issues, the excellent support team had me up and running in no time! Thanks for making the blender journey even better!

  This addon is one of the best investments I have made here. I am amazed at how easily and intuitively I can create and sort asset libraries. Kept very simple and understandable. In addition, big praise should be given to the support, who always tries to find a solution. Simply great!

  I'll be completely honest.... This add-on was the limiting factor on when I upgraded to Blender 4.0. I tried to upgrade to Blender 4.0 pre-release a few times, but kept dropping back to 3.6 until they released the 4.0 version. That's how essential it is to my workflow! I don't use the ambientcg side as often, but I really do love how much easier it is to organize my asset browser with this! Plus, the team is awesome. When I've had problems, they have worked with me on discord, and if there was a bug, they had a fix for me really fast! The True-VFX team is completely awesome (to the point that I have collected most of their add-ons now!)
