  I had to remove the grease pencil hotkey for this to work, but it does work and I like it!

  Hi, Rafael, glad that you like it, and thanks for your review. I remember that the default shortcut of grease pencil in Edit Mode is not the key D, maybe that's your custom shortcut. If they conflict in your situation, you can try move the shortcut of grease pencil to the 3 key in Edit Mode.
