Introduction

Suzanne AI is your chatbot and Personal Assistant who lives in Blender's N panel. Give her a task and she'll do her best to complete it!

Warning: The Alpha version is very experimental, there are still plenty of bugs to be fixed so please be patient!

Despite her being based on the same language model as ChatGPT, she is still in her infancy and has much to learn. (She's terrible at modeling)

Embark on a journey and watch Suzanne grow into a Professional Blender Assistant who one day might just become the new Blender Guru . (You had better lookout Andrew!)

Getting started

Installing the ZIP file:

Download the ZIP file, open Blender and go to Edit -> Preferences -> Add-ons and click Install. Navigate to the ZIP file and click Install Add-on.

OpenAI Secret Key:

You will then need to go to https://platform.openai.com/account/api-keys (Create an account if you don't have one)

Click on + Create a new secret key and copy-paste it in the preferences.

Almost there!

Lastly, create a txt file somewhere on your machine, this will be where your ongoing conversation will be stored. In the Suzanne Add-on Preferences, under conversation path, select your txt file.

Additional info:

• It might look like Blender has frozen after you click send. Blender is simply waiting for a response from the OpenAI servers. Please note that we are actively working on solutions to these problems.

• OpenAI's servers can sometimes be busy or even overloaded with requests. We are sorry for the inconvenience but unfortunately this is out of our control. We recommend trying again at a later time.

• If Suzanne's code doesn't work, the Try Again button will send her the error message. She can then hopefully learn from her mistakes on her second attempt.
