  There needs to be an option for landings and U& L shaped stairs - these are the type of stairs that are most often used. Maybe there is one but I can't find the option.

  I wanted procedural stairs and certainly found them here. Loads of them, all shapes and sizes. Works brilliantly. My go-to Blender Add-On for all things Stairs!

  I'm sorry to hear You're having issues with Stairs Maker, but I'm sure it's something that can be easily fixed. This Add-on has more than 400 users that use it without any issues. Please contact me and I will do my best to solve your problem as fast as possible.
  The first solution that comes to mind is whether you installed the right version of the add-on for the Blender version you're using.

  After updating to the newest version (1.2.2), everything works perfectly fine and UV maps are generated properly. Makes building stairs way more pleasing :)

  Hello Denis3D, You'll be glad to know that in the newest update of the add-on (1.2.2), this option has been added. Now when you press the Apply Geometry button, this addon will create automatically a new UV map that can be edited in the UV Editor just like any other UV Map. I suggest you check out the updated User Manual to get a better understanding of how it works.   Easy to get started, but no UVs can be generated no matter which settings you use. You still have to manually edit UVs after exporting meshes, which makes it much less appealing for video game art production.
