    Space Ship Generator
This is one of the coolest resources in my Blender toolbox. Very easy to modify using the Blender “Modifier” panel. Thousands of feature combinations. All amazing.

Housekeeping: The Space Ship Generator pack comes with four *.blend files. “ship generator1.blend,” – “ship generator 4.” I’m not quite sure why, except that they showcase four different example configurations.

My question was, “How do I import a ship into my existing scene?” Since I am not a sophisticated Blender user, I opted for two different simple techniques:
    1. “Copy” the “Ship” from any of the “ship generatorX.blend” files, open my scene file in Blender, then “Paste” into that.
    2. Or, in any of the “ship generatorX.blend” files, mark your “Ship” as an asset. Then, in Blender->Edit->Preferences->File Paths->Asset Libraries, add a path to “ship generatorX.blend” file or folder that contains your designated ship asset. Then, in your scene file, open the asset browser, choose “Space Ship Generator” (or whatever your folder is called), then drag the ship from the asset browser and drop into your scene.

For either technique, all of the various resources will accompany your pasted ship. They need to be present for your ship to maintain its configuration. They also make it possible for you to modify your ship in your scene file, using controls in Blender’s “Modifier” panel. Just “Hide” these resources in Blender’s “Outliner” panel.

These are import patterns that work for me. If there are better alternatives, please let me know.
Very special thanks and appreciation to Yojigraphics for providing this remarkable ship creation tool.

PS. I am getting good results with Space Ship Generator in Blender 4.2 EEVEE and Cycles.

Great results from this. Only complaint is that when the modifier is applied, the stripes get lost.

Far better then paying a 3d artist 200 plus for a ship model, Thanks again!

Loving playing around with this. It's not ideal if you have a set design in mind. but for procedural ships and as a base to then modify off it's great. spent far too much time going through the different options just to see what i make. love it.
