Shading Scale Grid Textures - AssetKit
Grid textures plain and simple, as you can see them in nearly all of my asset renderings here. Great for presenting assets. Very helpful to communicate scale in a scene, to quickly see if white levels are off or just to have some kind of features on the ground for look purposes. Standard ground type of most shader ball scenes.
This Package contains three different variants of the grids so you can pick your favourite one. You will also find the Blender scene and FBX/OBJ Geometry in the pack, please note that this is just for the sake of completeness. The scenes contain nothing more than some low poly geometries and the materials that consist of a PBR shader with the Scale Grid as Color Input and Roughness turned up. Easy to recreate in whatever software you are using, just build the shaders yourself don’t bother extracting them.
The textures have RAL 9010 as base white. You will find 4k, 2k and 1k textures in the packages. For Grid Variant A there is also a varation on board with Meters (m) as unit.
