  The admin removed this comment which suggests evasive collusion that greatly undermines the credibility of even having feedback. Make sure you are using "Cycles" or you will not see the "Use Nodes" checkbox for light objects, or be able to drag expansion pack nodes from the Asset pane to the node area. This appears to no longer be properly maintained (support gave a RTFM response), and will only work in <3.6.9 at most. While apologetic, the consumer is left to figure out their own documentation to get this add-on to function. The comment removal suggests this was an ongoing issue. C-

  The information you are suggesting in here is for the Underwater Caustics shader, not Shaders Plus.

  The new release (V4 at the time of writing)
  is great, the hole addon is great. Each node group is several shaders working together, gicing off a result comparable to Octane. Highly recommended and great value for what you're getting.

  These are excellent and super helpful. It would be great if you could improve the translucent shader as well but the ones covered by the addon are all top notch.

  Being able to break out of the limits of the standard shaders in Blender is a godsend! This is a must-have for the artist that likes to push material effects to get a style and look for a project.

  These shaders are great for getting more advanced shading effects right out of the box! My only complaint is that a lot of the default presets are not energy-preserving by quite a large margin. That being said, you can make small adjustments to make them look correct, and since you will be tweaking them to your liking anyway, it's not a big deal.
