No, you can put as many things as you want inside the collection and Seamless Scatter will take care of the rest. Just make sure that your hardware can handle the data.

Supports mesh, curves, images, videos, lights, text, and grease pencil. You can even scatter Metaballs, but the way they “react” with each other, the final pattern/ image won’t be seamless.
