Real Time Motion Graphics
While there might be some overlap here and there, for the most part this is an entirely new course focusing on a wide range types of techniques. That being said, it can't hurt to check out both if you have access to the Blender Cloud.
This course only focuses on tools that are built in to Blender itself, with one project being the exception.
For that specific project, I'll be using two extra free tools. The first one is MB-Lab, a free add-on to generate human models. The second one is Mixamo, a free service from adobe to rig and animate characters, which requires an Adode account.
Indeed, and this is explained at the start by going over some options when it comes to organizing your default scene. This course is not meant for beginners so if that's an issue I would suggest having a look at the Blender Fundamentals series on YouTube before diving in.
No, all the techniques shown are using a stock install of Blender 2.83 (Beta) on a moderately powerful gaming laptop (i7, 16GB RAM & RTX 2070). You'll be fine with a healthy sense of adventure and a fairly recent laptop with a dedicated GPU.
