My car doesn't generate correctly and one wheel is gone?

Make sure your timeline is set to frame 1 when generating your RigidCar Rig or it will mess up.

I get an error when I press "Start Controller"

Make sure that your controller is connected properly with ds4 and simulated as xbox360, also if your controller has disconnected multiple times while the addon has been running due to cable issues you may run into an error, if that happens try to close blender & ds4 windows, reopen ds4 windows and then blender and see if it's resolved, if not restarting your system should fix it. (Also if u are using an Xbox controller you won't need to have DS4 installed as windows/microsoft has xbox drivers built in by default, which isn't the case for other controllers.)

I just did a live simulation of my car with my controller now how to I cache what I just did?

Go to Scene Properties > Rigid Body World > Cache and press Current Cache to Bake, everything u just did live is now baked! no keyframing needed! or click the bake button in the rigidcar controller panel

One or more of my wheels mess up when i try to generate the car rig.

Make sure that your cars rotation is facing the negative Y axis when generating the rigidcar rig or your wheels may not generate correctly.

My car stops simulating at 250 frames?

You have to go to the rigid body world properties > cache and change the cache end from 250 to the end frame u need.

I bought RigidCar when it first came out will I still be able to get RigidCar 1.1 and future updates?

If you have bought RigidCar at any point all future updates will be free, simply go to Gumroad or Blendermarket and install the updated version.

I've installed RigidCar but I don't see the addon panel?

The way rigidcar works is by scanning your current selected collection to refrence your car part names, only ones u have done that and it has detected all the names will the menu show up, after that it will keep the car parts stored in memory and the addon panel will stay, if it ever disappears just click your collection containing your car parts again.

My car mesh doesn't fit well with the collision mesh that comes with RigidCar and causes clipping.

You can click the collisions mesh and simply go into edit mode and delete the vertices and shift + a, and create a cube and shape it, how to linked below. https://youtu.be/hqLoiEfR2GY or alternatively you could add a shrinkwrap modifier to the cube to the car and apply the modifier.

My car isn't reacting to the ground properly after displacing it

You have to set the collision mesh type to Mesh > Final, also don't forget to apply scale with CTRL + A, video below showing how to. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qh55628aIBE If the wheels are still slightly hovering above the collision object scale down the wheel colliders in the RigidCar panel, as blender's cylinder collision method has an invisible thickness to it for some reason.

The ground is very slippery like its ice, how do I increase friction?

Click on your surface and go to the physics properties tab, in your Rigid Body settings you are able to change the surface response, its also keyframeable so u can keyframe it to do burnouts and take off, ect..!
