Render Multiple Instances
Why Render Multiple Instaces?
Your project is all set and now is rendering time.
You start it but you notice that the cpu is at 45% and the GPU only at 60%.
WHY CAN'T IT RENDER FASTER?
With this addon you can choose the number of blender instances to render in the background, and by doing it from command line it's even faster since the application doesn't even need to waste time by showing it on screen.

Want to know how the scene in shaping up?
Reduce the render resolution percentage and render a sequence with multiple instances.
Then quickly convert the sequence to .mp4 format to show it to clients or you team.
After the render has finished select the encoder and set an output file (if left blank the mp4 will be created in the export folder)
This can also create mp4 file from any png sequence, just select the folder in the render panel and start the conversion

Know limitations
- Works best in eevee. Be sure to check you machine resources to get the right number if instances.
For Cycles renders can still increase speed by setting the instances to 1 and rendering in background from command line. - When rendering with multiple instances files won't be overwritten. Is best to create a new render folder ( Example: //output/sequence_001 -> //output/sequence_002 )
- MacOS is not supported at the moment
- FFmpeg must be installed for being able to create the MP4 files from the image sequences (install instruction in the readme)
