EEVEE handles skin shading like a champ now with the official release of the Blender 2.8!

This shader is fully RENEWED, it is now FASTER and EASY to manipulate and it looks AMAZING!

Make your characters more believable with this new release of RSS and get faster renders up to  2sec per frame!


Cinema quality skin within your viewport!

Before starting anything in Eevee, make sure the scene scale is properly set. Use Show Scale Reference and match the scene scale for better accuracy!

  • Better and much realistic skin scattering colors representing each individual layer of the human tissue.
  • RSS now has its own skin pores maps for maximum detail for closeups.


  • Paleness effect for under the eyes and various shallow skin spots.

 

and of course the diffuse weigh factor to determine which areas should be which using masks, e.g painted face.., dry paint does not have any sss. 

multi-layered specular maps are still there to give you the full control over the specularity of your shader in different lighting scenarios.
