  It is a fabulous addon, I am super delighted with it. May I suggest creating runoff texture on any surface and moisture "stains" on porous surfaces, like dirt, stone, etc?

  This addon is great! I've always wanted to do rainy scenes but it's near impossible to get them to look decent. With this addon, it gets basically everything right about rain.

  One thing I've noticed is that the splashes don't seem to work in Eevee, but I found a work-around to this where you can add an Instances on Points node in the Geometry node set-up and instance icospheres on the points, hope that helps someone! It'd also be nice if that was already a featured option in the addon, maybe in the future!

  This is an amazing add-on! A few clicks and you have really cool looking and quite realistic rain effects (droplets, bounces, puddles). Also, since the latest version is based in Geometry Nodes, the node setup is exposed, so you may have a look and learn a thing or two. Finally, this add-on has the potential to become even better as Blender gets more capable.
