This addon makes animating hand held cameras for your scene extremely easy adding an extra realism to your camera angle shots,
it comes with handy camera tools like camera shake, camera switcher, camera motion and so many others
you do not need any knowledge of advanced animating because everything is done with one click of a button and maybe a few tweaks

Overview

Quake add on comes with extra camera presets accessed directly from your camera menu "Object > Add > Camera "
these include

Pan Camera
  suitable for Flight shots, involves waving from side to side

Racing Camera
  Simulates shots made by a moving object like a vehicle for racing or fast movements, involves waving and tilting from side to side

Tilt Camera
  suitable for any shot, involves tilting from up to left and opposite

HandHeld Camera
  simulates a human like motion with a smart phone, involves vibrations from z, y, x axis

Head Camera
  Simulates a First Person camera with a little bit of shaking

and many others

Quake Panels
quake comes with three panels, Quake Camera Shake, Quake Camera Tools, Quake Motion Camera they can be found on the UI Left side Tab ('Quake') or in a Camera properties tab

Quake Camera Shake  

Adds a camera shake to your scene at a frame you choose with a duration of 20 frames default
  To Get started select your camera, go to the Quake Tab or Camera Properties Tab > Quake Camera Shake Panel
  and click the "Add Camera Shake Button" and play

Quake Motion Camera
  Adds a motion continuous camera shake to your scene at start frame to the end frame
 
  To Get started select your camera, go to the Quake Tab or Camera Properties Tab > Quake Motion Camera Panel
  and click the "Add Button" and play to see something cool happening to your camera
  the Vibration property adds noise to the motion making the camera shake, good for racing, explosion etc

Quake Camera Tools
  This has utility tools that may come in handy for you like converting the camera movements to keyframes for exporting to Other softwares or Gaming,
  the track object tool for parenting the camera to the selected or chosen object
  the camera switcher which makes switching between cameras in an animation easier with one click of a button

Getting Started

To Get started select your camera, go to the Quake Tab or Camera Properties Tab > Quake Motion Camera Panel
  and click the "Add Button" and play to see something cool happening to your camera
  the Vibration property adds noise to the motion making the camera shake, good for racing, explosion etc

  Location Option makes the camera move up down and left right, randomly
  Rotation Option makes the camera rotate left to right randomly

  You can choose from the shake presets from the radio buttons "Stable, Mild, Extreme or Chaos" then click the Add button and
  Clear button when you are not satisfied with the resulting Motion

  Advanced Camera Motion creates a popup panel that gives you more control of the camera Motion, Rotation, vibrations and so forth
  Check the Camera Properties Panel for more Camera Motion Control Properties like strength, scale and blend

  For more advanced ready made camera motion data animations try Preset Camera from the Quake Motion panel, select from "Racing Camera to Tilt cam, Pan cam, HandHeld and others then tap Add Preset and play animation

  To Get Started Select Camera right click and in the context menu click "Quake Add Motion" and play

  or head to UI Tab Right "Quake" or camera properties Tab > Quake Motion Panel and Select a preset cam "Racing Camera" the click Add Preset

  or Just Click Add Button to add default motion or you could click the advanced motion button to edit your motion in realtime to your preference
