QOL.. Quality Of Life tools for Blender! 

GroundObjects

The GroundObjects addon is an elegant one-click solution to placing objects (on the ground!). 

 All too often I would find myself fiddling around with groups of objects - relocating their pivots, snapping in orthographics, trying to find the absolute base, moving them to ground etc.  It's one of those things that doesn't seem like much until you start using GroundObjects, but by golly it's lovely to have once you do!  It's just one of those little "Quality of Life" things that make everyday useage of Blender so much nicer.

To Use:   Ground Objects can be found simply on the Objects menu:

First select all the objects you with to place.. then hit the Objects Menu > QOL-Objects to ground.  Tadaaa!, done.

Of course, with Quality of Life in mind, there's also a tweak menu, allowing you to change any of the aspects to your requirements:
