  One of my biggest complaints about Blender is how much time it takes to extrude a profile along a path with the default curve tools compared to the "follow me" tool in SketchUp. This tool has sped up my modeling substantially & didn't break the bank. Highly recommended! Thank you for making this!

  This tool has got bugs. It is not memorizing the last rail and it makes the rail out of scale. Also it deploys the profile with an independent transform wihch makes it very difficult to use.

  Sorry that the tool does not do what you expected. I have changed in the discription that you have to apply the scale and the rotation of the object (where you make the rail from) before you make the rail. It does remember the last rail untill you make a new rail. But the line you see is not the rail, the rail is in memory. If you move the rail on the screen, you have to press 'Make rail' again, then the rail is on the new location.
  I will change that to in the instructions .
