Procedural Water (Creates Caustics)

by Felicia White in Surfacing

Water 3.1 update:

I've updated the caustic shape to have a much nicer definition as well as adding in a surface transparency slider:

transparency Slider set to 0 (default):

transparency Slider set to 0.8 (should be much better for shallow water scenes)

A procedural water material that can creates caustics, surface ripples, and simulates depth, generates dispersion effect and surface displacement.
