Can we chain several animations on a single character?

Not yet, but it's planned for V2!

Do the characters have a facial rig ?

No, no facial animations

Some animations have contact (arms, legs) with penetration.

Yes, it can happen, Population is a crowd simulator, it is not made for close-ups

Can we combine "ambient" animations and "movement" animations ?

No, for the moment it is not possible on a single character, your characters can have either ambient animations or movement animations (walking, running) but not both at the same time on the same character.

Can characters automatically climb stairs?

No, they have to stay on a flat surface.
