This Planetary Rover is beautiful. I am using it for a scene on the moon.
The import of this asset into my scene was trouble free.

I am still learning how to use Blender. Blender is very powerful, but also very wonky and a bit mysterious in terms of how to get simple things done. So, I am including the steps I used that successfully brought this asset into my scene. BTW not all assets here on Blender Market import so easily. Some are a real nightmare. I want to make the point that this Planetary Rover imported cleanly into my scene, and with high fidelity.

Here is how I am using it in my scenes.
There are two files to download. Download the PlanetaryRover...blend and the Maps zip file (includes all the materials).

Extract the Maps zip file so that all the unzipped texture files are in the same folder as the PlanetaryRover...blend file.

In Blender, open the PlanetaryRover…blend file. In the Scene Collection panel, right-click on the “PlanetaryRover” collection, then “Mark as Asset.”

    Save the PlanetaryRover…blend file

Open your separate scene file in blender. Go to Edit->Preferences->File Paths->Asset Libraries.
Under Asset Libraries, select the + button and add the path to the folder containing the PlanetaryRover…blend file and materials files.

Open up Asset Browser and search for PlanetaryRover. A rover thumbnail should display in the view. Drag and drop it into your scene.

Thanks to MPSmodels for creating this resource and making it available on Blender Market.
