How It Works
1. Install the Photoshop Companion Plugin
To enable seamless integration between Blender and Photoshop, install the Photoshop to Blender Companion Plugin:
Automatic Installation (Recommended)
- Locate the file

Double-click to launch—this will open Adobe Creative Cloud, which will guide you through the plugin installation process.
- Once installed, restart Photoshop to activate the plugin.

- Open Photoshop.
- Navigate to Edit > Preferences > Plugins, and ensure "Allow Extensions to Connect to the Internet" is enabled.
- Copy the plugin folder to the Photoshop Plugins directory (typically found under
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop\Plug-ins\
on Windows or /Applications/Adobe Photoshop/Plug-ins/
on macOS).

Using Photoshop Link
1. Send to Photoshop

Option 1: Render your scene in Blender and select the Render Result.

Option 2: Open the Image Editor in Blender and choose a specific texture or image.
- Click "Send to Photoshop" in the Photoshop Link Panel (found in the 3D View Sidebar).
- The image will automatically open in Photoshop.
2. Edit and Save in Photoshop
- Modify the image as needed in Photoshop.
- Click "Save and Send to Blender" in the Photoshop Companion Plugin Panel inside Photoshop.
- This saves the file and prepares it for transfer back to Blender.
3. Import Back into Blender
- Return to Blender and click "Import from Photoshop" in the Photoshop Link Panel.
- The updated image will load into Blender, either replacing the existing image or creating a new version, depending on your settings.
