  The best plugin and my first :) the updates on the PBR painter are just awesome i brought it during its 1st release and the updates have made the plugin worth every penny, Wil is extreamly friendly and has responded to every one of my query.
  Get the plugin you will not regret, im pretty sure Wil is gona make it even better.

  Ok, PBR Painter was a great addon, and now with update 2.1. Wow absolutely amazing. Just want to complain about the price. I think the price for this addon is to low. I have paid more for addons that never really worked the way they were suppose to.

  Ever since I found this add-on YouTube, I've had a blast painting my textures freely with PBR Painter! Wil has been amazing at responding quickly to my requests and even making them possible on short notice. Updates are frequent with performance improvements and the new tutorials have made it even easier to get into the add-on. Can't wait to see what comes next!

  Well, what a pleasant surprise this addon was! For such a low price, I didn't expect such a sophisticated, stable and enjoyable addon! There are so many great things to like about PBR Painter, and for the price you really can't go wrong. The UI is very intuitive and easy to understand and I love the fact that I can develop my materials layer-by-layer then automatically bake and export everything externally. I also really like the mask builder, which I think is something that puts PBR Painter above some of the alternatives. Really, I am in love with it, and for something still in its infancy I can't wait to see how it grows in the future. Thanks Will for such a fun addon!

  I was hoping this would be more stable as I have had a lot of hope for this given this was more budget friendly to say the other programs out there, but this add on just makes the model I am painting on unusable. That is it crashes the blender file when ever I click on the texture tab of the current UV image and the way the system is set up it has to fight blender in order to paint. When it does work I do see results but the layer system just doesnt work and when it crashes my latest save has none of the work. I always have to fiddle around with things to make it paint on the model. Personally this add on is not for me. I appreciate the idea of this add on, blender is in need of a layer texturing system.

  Hi Elias,

  I am sorry to hear you have had issues. However, I would have appreciated the opportunity to respond to any issues and provide support, but I have not received any messages or support requests from you.

  I am in regular communication with quite a number of users with regards to feature requests etc., and have never had a complaint such as yours. In fact, there have been almost no complaints about bugs whatsoever (save for a few minor things). This makes me think the issue could have been resolved and may have been related to your specific setup, or perhaps an incompatibility with another addon. In either case, I would have loved the opportunity to fix any issues, both for yourself and for anyone else who may have the same problems in the future.

  In lieu of being able to provide proper support for you, I will try my best here. A few things to consider:
  - Are you using one of the compatible software versions? I cannot guarantee that the addon will work with either previous versions of Blender not listed, or versions currently in alpha or beta.
  - Are you using the current version of PBR Painter (v1.1.0) or the beta version (v2.0.0). Bugs like this in the beta version, while still unlikely, are more likely than in the release versions.
  - I don't know what you mean when you say it has to "fight Blender in order to paint". There is no fighting going on - PBR Painter uses Blender's normal texture painting system, and just combines this with node setups.
  - Have you read through the documentation provided (https://wilgardner.github.io/pbr-painter-doc/) and watched the tutorial videos on YouTube? These should make things clearer.
  - In terms of losing work: v1.1 and v2.0 beta both have an 'autosave' feature, which saves all of your texture painting with the .blend file. So as long as you have that turned on and are saving your .blend file, you shouldn't lose work. Again, it would have been great to troubleshoot this with you.

  Ultimately, it is disappointing to see such a negative review without any attempt to reach out for support. But if this has truly been your experience with the addon, please reach out and I will organise a full refund.

  Simple UI pbr texturing addon but very powerful, awesome workflow and really great layering system. Straight to the point and not trying to complicate things. Although it is still new , it is really stable for me. The developer is also actively listens to user feedback and suggestions and that alone should be given a 5 star ratings. Cant wait for the incoming version 2.0.

  Well, well, well somebody has a keen interest in accomplishing things that are actually important. In the vast, vast ocean of Blender Add-ons, of course THIS was missing. And you will realize when you use it. Of course.
  This is bold as well as obvious Stuff. Will really be looking forward to further development and then finally cancelling my substance painter subscription. One less bill to pay. GO GO GO!!!

  I'm really enjoying PBR Painter. The UI is very well thought out and the workflow is super efficient and easy to get to grips with quickly. Setting up PBR layers is intuitive and fast and It's a pleasure to be able to paint with them in Eevee or Cycles. As a user of the Extreme PBR addon, it's great to be able to use all of the assets with PBR Painter as well.
  I contacted the developer with a short wishlist of new features and he responded promptly and thoughtfully. He's eager to add new features and grow his community of users so I'm really looking forward to seeing his addon evolve.
