Oil Painting Asset Pack

A huge collection of 89 high quality digital oil paintings designed to look just like the real thing, inspired mostly by the impressionists with a large number inspired by Van Gogh, Monet and Seurat's landscapes, but also including a few portraits, these art works are perfect for any interior design scene where you need to add a sense of life or atmosphere, featuring snowy landscapes, desert, ponds, canals, people, flowers and the countryside of the south of France.

To use

1. Drag and drop a painting from the asset browser and a frame to go with it if you want to use one
2.  Adjust their rotation
3.  Use Blender's inbuilt Align Objects function to make sure they fit together

To install

Treat it like any other asset pack.

1. Download the "Oil Painting Asset Pack.blend" file and drag it into your asset library path (editable in Preferences > File Paths)
2. Open your asset browser (make sure that "User Library" is selected)

All items in the pack have custom icons for the asset browser so that they are easily identifiable.

At a true 4k resolution (longest width is 4096 pixels), both for the image texture and the bump map, these paintings look just as good far away as they do up close. In fact they are such high quality that you could, and are welcome to, have any of the images included printed and use them as actual wall art.

Using absolute cutting edge software and a custom trained AI model, made specifically for generating traditional style artwork, coupled with many, many hours of editing, I am able to produce for you all entirely original artwork based on the style of the impressionist artists.

Not just a flat image - these aren't just png files put on image planes, with each object there is an associated bump map that gives a fantastic impression of the impasto technique (using the thickness of paint to add to the effect of the painting) used by the impressionists, this mixed with some other nodes gives a realistic effect to the surface of the paint.

Along with the paintings come 4 frames, some thicker and thinner to give you some stylistic choice. All images are in the 4:3 aspect ratio so you can rotate them accordingly for the few portrait images.
